On Saturday 23, 2011 three dauntless Traditional Mas Players were awarded with their lifetime dedication to the art form:
-Henezie Jeffrey from Chantimelle, St. Patrick for being a Shortnee Band Leader for over 30 years.
-Winston Sam of Gouyave, St. John for playing an Apache Indian for almost 55 years
-Livingston Hutchinson for being a leader and composer of Shortnee bands for over 60 years.
