Spicemas Grenada Carnival Launch a Success

Spicemas Grenada Carnival Launch was once again successful. The highly attended event was held last evening at the National Stadium showcasing a blast of colours, music and entertainment.

The event gave people the opportunity to see portrayals by the traditional Mas bands of Shortknee, Jab  Jab and Wild Indians, and fancy mas bands such as Summer Crew. There were performances by artists such as Black Wizard, Teddy Rhymez and Lavaman, and an introduction by the Carnival Queen contestants from their respective parishes.

The event was a showcase of what to expect for the carnival season and a prompt to everyone that ‘The Mas Start’.
